I'm Jamal Harris…….. The Koolest Principal. After more than 20 years in education and over a decade in school leadership, I've seen enough to know that some conversations need to happen, some questions need to be asked, and some things need to change.

This podcast is about having those conversations: honestly, openly, and without pretending we have all the answers. We're talking education, parenting, leadership, community, youth development, and the real issues affecting our young people. We're challenging the status quo, questioning the way we've always done things, and confronting the realities that too often get overlooked. From what's happening in our schools to what our children are experiencing beyond the classroom, we're going beyond the surface to talk about what matters, why it matters, and what we can do about it.

I believe every child deserves an opportunity to succeed, but opportunity means little if we're unwilling to understand what it takes to help each child get there. That means honest conversations about accountability, relationships, expectations, and our collective responsibility to the next generation. Don't expect me to tell you everything you want to hear. Expect me to ask the questions we need to answer, challenge the thinking that needs challenging, and bring real-world experience to conversations that deserve more than surface-level answers.

No fluff. No pretending. Just real talk, real issues, and real impact.

Because if we're serious about changing lives, we've got to be willing to have the conversations that can change the way we think, lead, parent, teach, and show up for one another.
